Question by John Norris: I poked a gum abscess out with a dart and now I have a really deep hole in the roof of my mouth. What to do?
I have a HUGE hole in the roof of my mouth where I poked a dart through my abcess to break it apart, but I poked too deep, and now there’s a hole in the roof of my mouth, and its HUGE, like an eighth inch wide and a quarter inch deep. I don’t think it will EVER heal given the huge size of this indent, and I’m SURE that in the future, if food gets stuck up in there, it WILL cause an infection and possible a fatal one. So I need serious answers here.
This is NOT a normal ’stab wound”, this is an actual HOLE that is an entire eighth inch around and it feels like its gotta be a quarter inch deep, seeing how far I stuck the dart up there and noting that the wound is wider around than the dart itself. It is right near my teeth and I”m concerned about possible nerve or muscle damage or future problems from having this huge gaping hole in the roof of my mouth.
Noone at this point is taking me seriously, people are too immature to say anything besides “eew”. I know its gross but my life could be in danger so I need a serious answer.
“emergency dentist”? What a beautiful world you must be living in lol.
I have an appointment for tomorrow though. I’m just glad they didn’t make me wait a weeks or months.
